This morning I went to Wokingham Town Hall for some more seasonal entertainment organised by the Wokingham Town Council. This was a Christmas concert given by The Cameo Singers, Wokingham’s Chamber Choir. They sang some festive carols and a member of the choir read some seasonal readings from the book "A Literary Christmas: An Anthology". For some of the carols we were invited to sing along with the choir. Included in the £2 entry fee was tea or coffee and a mince pie after the performance. All profits going to the town mayor’s charity the Wokingham Scouts and Guides.
Afterwards we went to Waitrose for lunch where we shared a table, and had a lovely chat, with a lady in a snowflake jumper.www.cameosingers.co.uk
