ATOS Christmas Concert

Saturday was the last trip out for the year and I went to Woking for a concert of Christmas music held in the basement of the leisure centre. You may ask yourself what is down in the basement to be able to hold a concert but there is a medium sized hall with a Wurlitzer Organ at one end “The Woking Wurlitzer”, and it is the only working Wurlitzer in the south of England.
The organist, Len Rawle MBE, was joined by the Chobham St. Laurence hand-bell ringers and a brass duo. There were Christmas readings which were quietly accompanied by the organ as well as solo and group music all joined together by a very funny compère.
