In Maidenhead last weekend was the summer Art On The Street event. This brings together many local artists to display their work in an open air setting along the pedestrianised high street.
At one end of the street there was a performance area where bands and singers were performing throughout the morning.
Each artist’s stall was displaying a range of artworks in a style which was unique to themselves. This meant that there was a colourful array of different pictures to look at. On one stall there was a man with lots of interesting sculptures who could create 3D shapes to order using a 3D printer.
There was one picture that I particularly liked that was using vivid colours as the main focus in the sky to depict heavy rain falling onto a plain black pencilled landscape.
This was a free event, parking was easy in the ordinary shoppers car parks, the high street is level access with block paving.
