The Camberley Car Show sees hundreds of private owner vehicles, plus some special stars, brought together in Camberley town centre. This event is a big attraction raising money for South West Thames Kidney Fund.
The special cars this year were The Batmobile, a Jordan F1 car, Lightning McQueen, and Sporting Bears. This last group were offering a passenger ride in a selection of high performance cars for a donation. Inside the Atrium shopping centre there was the Ghostbusters’ emergency vehicle.
Parked nose to tail, there were glistening vintage and custom cars all along High Street and Park Street. By each vehicle there was a small collection bucket for donations.
After doing several laps of the streets I had lunch in Nando’s before watching Mama Mia 2 in the Vue cinema (other brands available).
There was no entrance for the car show although donations were gratefully received, Nando’s and Vue were just Nando’s and Vue. There are more pictures in the gallery click here.
