At the Town Hall, the community gathered for the annual carol singalong hosted by the Town Council with light-hearted readings and carols for audience participation. There were many popular carols to sing along to, interspaced with readings and music sung by the choir. Afterwards there were some lovely mince pies to enjoy.
Outside the Town Hall, the St. Sebastian’s brass band was playing seasonal music for the shoppers and those who stopped to listen.
I enjoyed a large breakfast roll at the new GAIL’s artisan bakery in the new shopping development.
