On a rather wet Saturday I went to the annual parade of reindeers in Windsor. Before that though I took a wander around some of the shops in the town and had a pizza in the King & Castle for lunch. As it was so damp this year there were not as many people as there have been in previous years.
The procession of the reindeer, towing Father Christmas on a sleigh, was being led by the town band playing Christmas carols as it waved its way through the centre of the shopping streets on to its destination at Daniels Department store.
Here, a grotto had been errected for children to speak to Father Christmas 1-on-1, whilst the town band stayed to play more carols to the shoppers around Daniels. I stayed to listen for a while before I came home.
